Electric vehicle drivers can download the Bosch Charge My EV app for Android and iOS. After a one-time registration, they gain access to the entire Bosch charging network in Europe.

Finding the optimal charging point whenever needed

In the app, users can have all the public charging points displayed on the map and can further refine their search by entering an address or filtering by price, availability, or charging power.

In future it will also be possible to reserve charging points in advance. In addition, relevant points of interest located around the charging point can optionally be displayed in the app too, so users can visit them if they wish while their vehicle is charging.

Convenient navigation directly to the charging point

After users have selected the desired charging point, they can enjoy the convenience of being guided directly to its location by the smartphone app or by the vehicle's navigation system, which integrates seamlessly with the app.

Start charging with just the tap of a finger

Once they arrive at the selected charging point, users can control all aspects of the charging process in the smartphone app or via the vehicle display. Starting or stopping the charging process is possible at any time. The app’s timer function provides users with a timely reminder about the end of the charging time.

Seamlessly integrated charging and payment

At the end of the charging session, payment is carried out automatically in the background using popular means of payment like credit cards.

Vehicle manufacturers, mobility providers, and businesses can flexibly configure payment processing and billing. Alongside price models based on consumption, they can also offer, for example, prepaid options. What is more, the energy prices can be adapted to individual preferences too, so that, for instance, manufacturers, mobility providers, and businesses can offer their own customers and employees particularly attractive rates.

All the essential information in a single app

App users can view their charging history at any time in the integrated logbook, where they will find an overview of previous charging processes, costs incurred, and services used.
