This app asks for phone number, email address and license plate. You can't even use the map to see charger locations until you have registered. All it REALLY need is credit card info, everything on top of that is just excessive data harvesting. I guess Norwegians don't care much for privacy or EU law.

I'm on a roadtrip through Norway and we were looking to charge with Eviny. At first, we tried charging with my rfid badge. This did not work as it didn't recognise my badge. Pretty normal since this is a Belgian one. Then tried the options like mobile app or website, but we've couldn't add a payment option. With our MasterCard, it asked for a card reader (who takes those on trips...). Then we tried with Maestro, but we got stuck on an empty screen. We lost two hours on our trip due to a bad app

used to be able to charge without activating through the app at home. but after elway made us switch to this from the old app you no longer can. the car also can't automatically start charging to keep the battery optimal overnight. so you are stuck with a horrible charging experience at home
